If your design contains silver, remember it is sterling and can tarnish. Tarnish can easily be removed by gently rubbing a soft cloth, treated with polishing products. You may purchase one at your local jewelry store. Most department stores sell polishing cloths.
Store your silver in an airtight compartment or plastic bag to minimize tarnishing.
Put your jewelry on last. Exposing the design to hair spray, make-up and perfumes can cause damage and spotting. Jewelry should not be worn during sports activities, swimming, showering, doing yard work, heavy cleaning, using bleaches or cleaning solutions.
